Best Wishes from Quentin (Back in Poitiers, France)
Hello, I bring greeting from across the Channel. Quentin (thats Irish Keltan to you Elidh) has sent his best wishes for the festive season. Here is a picture of himself, Diego and I at the shed session in the Summer.
I have taken the liberty of copying his email here. He has sent us a piece of music which I think is fantastic. Does anybody know the tune??? Click on the "MP3" icon in the music page, and then the choose the "Fishermans sessions" section. "quentinTune" should come up
I hope everything is allright for you and everyone in Dundee. I've eventually found a job : I'm working for SAFT near ANGOULEME. ..... I have no real holidays for the end of this year as I'm a begginer (and begginers always work...).
Let's skip to better things: as soon as I left Scotland in june, I said to myself that I really wanted to record something linked with traditional music and these incredible sessions at the Fisherman... Well although I've not created anything, I've picked up a tune from the cd you made and tried to arrange it for solo guitar. It was two weeks ago, and this tune turned completely obsessional in my head: during one week each night after work I was trying to play it. It's far from being musically and technically achieved to my opinion, but I'll work on it 'till I'm satisfied! I hope you'll enjoy it : it's my little present for christmas :D. Let me know the name of this tune!
I wish you a merry christmas, See you soon, Quentin.
